Our purpose is to make every smart-home decision calmer, clearer, and easier to maintain. We aim to make every page useful on its own: clear enough to understand, focused enough to act on, and honest about where the information comes from.
What you will find here
We publish original articles about smart-home standards, planning routines, privacy, and long-term device maintenance. Our editorial process may include research, drafting, fact-checking, editing, and periodic updates. When a statement depends on an external source, we aim to link to the most direct available source, identify the author or organization, and distinguish reporting from opinion.
Our source labels mean:
- Primary source: an official announcement, original dataset, law, standard, paper, filing, or first-party documentation.
- Secondary source: analysis or reporting that interprets primary material.
- Editorial analysis: conclusions or explanations produced by our team.
- AI-assisted: material for which an AI system assisted with research, outlining, drafting, translation, or editing. Human reviewers remain responsible for the published result.
